If the visualization is not perfect, again look at the blue part of the flame and try to imagine the same without making any effort.
Figure 46: Trataka / Candle Exercise
When you are able to visualize the flame in your imagination, then open your eyes. Read the testing chart or photo print. This exercise can be done with both the eyes. One may palm the eyes whenever they feel strained. This exercise gives perfect control over the mind. This is also known as the Trataka.
- Keep the flame at a distance where one can see it clearly.
- Do Trataka in a peaceful place.
- While doing the exercise sit in a relaxed posture.
